Type 9 Retro Reflective Sheeting – Very-high-intensity retro-reflective material having the highest retro-reflectivity characteristics at SHORT road distances as determined by the RA values of Table 3 at 1° observation angle. This sheeting is normally an air backed unmetallized microprismatic reflective film, made into wide rolls for signs, or slit into narrow rolls for other applications. Typical applications for this material are permanent highway signing, construction zone devices, delineators. Other applications are bollards, fences, gates, building, poles, vehicles, trailers, etc.. Anywhere wide angle reflectivity is required.
